Russian River Falls

Description: 2.5 miles of gentle trail to the falls.
Trailhead proximity to Grizzly Ridge: 4 miles
Directions: Turn into Russian River Campground at mile marker 52.5 on the Sterling Highway. Fee for parking in campground applies. Upon entering park, trailhead parking is clearly marked in the first parking are on the left.

SLAUGHTER RIDGE GULCH TRAIL

Description: Moderately steep trail rising above the community of Cooper Landing.
Trailhead proximity to Grizzly Ridge: .5 miles
Directions: Turn onto a gravel road near mile marker 48 on Sterling Highway (by Wildman's). Drive up the gravel road until it ends in a small circle parking area. Continue uphill to find trailhead.

JUNEAU FALLS ON RESURRECTION TRAIL

Description: 5 miles north on the Resurrection Trail (starting at Cooper Landing trailhead).
Trailhead proximity to Grizzly Ridge: 2.5 miles
Directions: Trailhead parking is located at mile marker 52 of Sterling Highway.

KENAI RIVER CANYON OVERLOOK

Description: .5 mile gentle trail to canyon overlook.
Trailhead proximity to Grizzly Ridge: 10 miles
Directions: Turn onto Skilak Lake Road at mile marker 58 of Sterling Highway. Pass the turnoff to Jim's Landing and drive .5 miles to the first trailhead parking lot on Skilak Lake Road.
